History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Dilettante hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Naal and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Aldous was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Ruler. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Ruler and was forced into it by his family; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: Born in the south to a Painter, Patrick learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has worked as a Painter like his father before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult; and to end his boredom

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Seamstress father left her crippled. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away.

Description: She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. She cuts an attractive figure and her suit of old armor is well cared for even if it is obsolete. She wears her hair in dreadlocks. This gray eyed southerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Emma is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a woman enough she will sell her own mother. Money is her most trusted friend.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Courier arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and money/treasure
