History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Theren fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Blacksmith. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Rurik was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the gnolls.
