Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 6 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Ratanák never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
