History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Through the years after Flame was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Flame's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was granted psionic powers by her dying sister.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He married young, but lost his spouse to goblins. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge
