History: Nyx lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her parents were killed by drow in a raid when she was still a young child. The drow captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.
