History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. Gargax was born on a far southern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Carter. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Gargax never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
