Description: This man likes to wear ponchos typically of a light blue in addition to tight pants. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized topaz on his right hand. He has a brown handlebar mustache and slicked back brown hair. He has gleaming, smiling green eyes.
Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: Gifted from a young age, Heian studied abroad. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He now spends his time doing works of charity.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and many dire rats want him driven away

Description: This southern man wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His clothes are grease stained in places. With a patchy black beard and wild black hair. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.
Personality: He is a Marshal first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Marshal work with an outfit from a few towns over. Marshal work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Marshal for the past few years.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.
History: Seven hails from a village terrorized by goblins. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Scribe for hire.
Motivation: Expand his business.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.
History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
