History: Nordak hails from a village terrorized by giants. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, giants burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Born in the west to a Interpreter, Rosamund learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She now owns her own business.

He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
