She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Map Maker for hire.
