It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Eberdeb was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born into a rich family. At a young age her mother died while driving off some giants. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in scimitar use. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Description: This woman wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. She is muscular with a powerful set of arms. Her blonde hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. Her green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Halfling in existence. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: She was born in a small mountains village. She always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kathra grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kathra. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He feeds upon the attention of others.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. While he appears to be a normal Dwarf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
