History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Kyle was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and a deep hatred of drow

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her 17th year, her parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Nurkara alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by drow, and she desires to right it.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Xanaphia was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city.
