History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Birel grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered painting. Now she works as a painting tutor during her time off.

She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: She got into the Guard business at a young age. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Guard. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
