Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. The war was a terrible time for him, and Roland does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He got into the Carter business at a young age. When Roland reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Through the years after Fistula was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Fistula's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Merchant. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Nora was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
