History: Kaladan was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Doctor. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature spear.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her first spouse was a Sailor, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his absent father

Her violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. She has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: She is mildly Human supremacist, though she does not identify as such. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Bather hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

History: The child of a Assassin, who enjoyed hunting, Therai was taken on many hunting expeditions. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Himo grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. After a long history of fighting, Himo and his spouse have recently divorced.
