In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

History: Born in the west to a Fisher, Grigi learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Fisher. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
