History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Shax grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shax. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At some point he was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and revenge
