History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dwarven artifacts is his passion.

His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Roofer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Roofer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
