He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Gubu took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up morningstar and armor he uses now. Now he works as a writing tutor during his time off.

Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Gaaki was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.
