History: Darrow lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Darrow was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tiefling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tiefling doctor. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and a strong sense of loyalty to tiefling people

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
