History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Richard took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Serpent's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Serpent's homeland. Serpent decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
