History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Aasathra hails from a village terrorized by drow. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she is typically in her Slave Trader uniform. Her golden hair is singed and shortened. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Born in the north to a Slave Trader, Keyleth learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Slave Trader work with an outfit from a few towns over. Slave Trader work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and money/treasure

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is a great chef.

History: Veit was born with his father's beautiful face. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now owns his own business.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: Ea was raised in a hard working conservative environment. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Ea alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.
