History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the east were limited. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Sailor for the past few years.

Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Farmer arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Ida alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
