History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Balam never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Cook. She struck the Cook job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Gargax hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Slave Trader. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Slave Trader.

Description: This woman is very fat, and wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. She has a very tight haircut. Her brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. Irann is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Irann was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Irann abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: She was born in the south. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
