When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.
