Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Frederick never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Cartwright arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when he was still a young child. The gnolls captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Tim was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and wants to work out more often
