History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Thava grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Thava. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Kaladan alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now owns his own business.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and to be a spice merchant again

Personality: She dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the east. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end; and she wants to get laid

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Fortune-teller arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Rael has worked very hard to control his curse. After a long history of fighting, Rael and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She's also a talented Apothecary, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She is content.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and retire the richest man in the east
