Personality: Farideh is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Farideh grew up listening to her father's many stories. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Rimple was born the youngest of three triplets. When Rimple reached his early adolescence his Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Ilga hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Ilga lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Volen took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up morningstar and armor she uses now. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Herbalist.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A freak accident while working with his Slave Trader father left him crippled. He's also a talented Slave Trader, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Spice Merchant responsibilities is difficult; and expand his business
