Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He was born on a small isolated farm. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Beleth's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Healer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Healer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She now owns her own business.

History: Cressel was born with his father's beautiful face. While he appears to be a normal Tiefling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Cressel never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
