History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Conrad grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Conrad. He became a Dyer soon after.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. While she appears to be a normal Half-Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Gnomish culture. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Tabaxis in Skirt's homeland. Skirt decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
