History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Uthemar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. At some point he was captured by drow and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.
