History: She was born in the west. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Emeny grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Emeny. She has worked as a Tanner like her mother before her.

The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She is a Jackalwere in disguise. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Ruler they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Seamstress, and she later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Regain custody of her son.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ploughman. He's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
