History: Oriax lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Navigator work with an outfit from a few towns over. Navigator work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Born to a Priest, her mother struggled to pay the bills. Through the years after Megren was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Megren's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Megren and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Burto isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Burto was born with his mother's beautiful face. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes.
