History: Darrow was born with his mother's beautiful face. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. History: Born in the south to a Engraver, Kerkad learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Engraver for hire.

He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.
