History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Barrister for the past few years.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Jade was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Jade was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Guard. He tends to his Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Katherine hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Her first spouse was a Sage, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He takes great joy in being the best Slave Trader in town.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He now owns his own business.
