History: He was born at the edge of vast island. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Rurik took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up kukri and armor he uses now. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Architect.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Locksmith arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel.
