Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Oren embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Through the years after Oren was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Oren's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mara grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mara. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
