History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Surina grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Surina. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Kathra took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up greatsword and armor she uses now. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
