History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Jelenneth was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Jelenneth's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
