History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barkeep they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Soapmaker, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers; and doesn't want to be a soapmaker and was forced into it by his family

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cecily fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
