Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Quarethon is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Quarethon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

The goblins captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
