History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. Bethrynna enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Bethrynna was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. After a long history of fighting, Bethrynna and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). Her white hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: She is witty, but her monotone delivery comes off as unnerving She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Portia took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up quarterstaff and armor she uses now. She bought a quarterstaff and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She prefers to wear grey pants and tee shirts. Her hair is silver and very short. She has hazel eyes and a grey hat with a tan feather.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her first spouse was a Tanner, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She was granted arcane powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and wants to raise her children well

Description: He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. He is portly but not overly obese. He has styled his golden hair well, parting it to the left. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. While he appears to be a normal Gnome, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Many illithids want him driven away; and someone believes him a fraud
