History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Three grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Description: An older man who has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his white robe, he is not a threatening figure. He sports a flattop fur cut. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She worked as a nervous Interpreter and found it very stressful. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.

Description: This late middle aged man is wearing a long, grey cloak and is in decent physical shape. He is bald on top and has large red tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are likewise blue.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Everard embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with writing. He constantly tries to fill his life with writing. A friendly and beautiful Elf, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born in a small island village. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and his religion dominates his actions

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. A freak accident while working with her Engraver father left her crippled. Being a Hunter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
