History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying east to reunite his family. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Barbena was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
