History: Therlin was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Warlock, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Warlock in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Jade was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Ploughman hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Shipwright. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Elves in the west were limited. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Motivation: Meet up once more with her childhood friend; and to reunite with her old friends

History: Whurbin lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Spring grew up listening to his father's many stories. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it
