History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Thorpe was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Thorpe has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She found a children's book about a Tiefling Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: She has passion for adventuring and risk; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
