History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Through the years after Marastyr was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Matilda fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
