The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Kaladan took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up glaive and armor he uses now. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

History: Caeldrim was born the youngest of three triplets. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Servant. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Galinndan was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born to a Soapmaker, her father struggled to pay the bills. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Spy work with an outfit from a few towns over. Spy work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Spy.
