History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Gilbert embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A freak accident while working with her Mason father left her crippled. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He thrives on attention. He does whatever is in his power to gain the attention of whomever he deems a fit date. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Fletcher arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fletcher. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Gaaki's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
