Description: She wears a fancy blue dress. Her attire stands in sharp contrast to her hand crossbow, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a butterfly on it. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.
History: Gifted from a young age, Numba studied abroad. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Numba took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up hand crossbow and armor she uses now. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it

Description: A woman with a warm, jovial air about her, she is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright black and brown, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. Her bronze crest is still thick. Her eyes are likewise red. Her teeth are white and perfect.
Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.
History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
Motivation: Expand her business; and she has money and likes to spend it

Personality: She is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. Traulam enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.
History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Purah was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Purah's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Hunter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.
Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the west; and to end her boredom

Description: With violet face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she tends to wear a brown poncho over her likewise colored trousers and shirt. Her auburn hair is singed and shortened. Her eyes are a pleasant amber.
Personality: Matilda is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: Matilda was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alice embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She enjoys reading and quiet.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Alice was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
