Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with Stetson hat. He keeps his long black hair kept up in a rat tail. His eyes are a pleasant green.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Patrick grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Patrick. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: Spring hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Description: With black face paint in a stripe pattern across her face, she wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around her neck, and a bastard sword on her belt. Her silver hair is knotted and matted. She has black eyes.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. In her youth she was a Bricklayer, and wanted to be a champion fighter when she grew up. She was working during a period of war, and as one of the natives she lived in fear of joining the others in being slaughtered. She saw the brutality and swore off her fighting aspirations, taking her younger sister on her back after seeing her parents die, and fled the country. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Lerissa fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. Lone is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: The child of a Tailor, who enjoyed hunting, Lone was taken on many hunting expeditions. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She is a great chef.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Her parents enrolled her in a Wizard school at a young age so that she could practice her martial talents. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

History: Fabien hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. After a long history of fighting, Fabien and his spouse have recently divorced.
